Program Features

Join Our GED Classes

  • Class Availability

    NexStep Alliance GED classes are eight-week sessions. You may choose morning or evening options, based on availability at four locations. 

    Class Schedules
    • Morning Option: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Harry Street Campus and Empower Campus)
    • Evening Option: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Main Campus and City Center Campus at WSU Tech)
    • Friday morning workshops at the Main Campus are available to all students.

  • Enrollment Checklist

    To participate in NexStep Alliance GED preparation classes in Wichita:

    1. Select a class schedule and location (see above for more details).
    2. Select an open enrollment date.
    3. Enroll in person during the open enrollment dates. Be sure to bring your photo ID with you. (If you’re under 18, you’ll need a disclaimer from compulsory attendance and a parent/guardian.)
    4. At enrollment, we’ll schedule you for a placement exam. No need to study or worry, it just helps us know where your studies should start.
    5. Attend orientation, pay your $50 materials fee for the school year, and prepare to discover how the individual support of certified instructors can help you accomplish more than you even thought was possible.
